What do not provide

  • A valid Ontario fishing licence. ( Visit Ontario.ca to get one ) 

  • Warm, layered clothing suitable for changing conditions

  • Toque, hat, and gloves

  • Polarized sunglasses (recommended)

  • Sun protection clothing and sunscreen

Cancellation & Liability
  • 50% deposit is required at time of conformation of booking. Deposit will be put towards overall total of trip. Remaining balance is due 72hrs prior to trip date. 

  • Deposit is fully refundable if cancelled 2 weeks or more, before booked date 

  • *Deposit is nonrefundable if booking is cancelled less then 2 weeks prior to booked date, deposit can be transferred for a agreed upon rescheduled date. 

  • Deposit is fully refundable if trip is cancelled by guide due to water or weather conditions and a rescheduled date can not be agreed on. 

  • Full payment is due if trips booked less then 72hrs prior to trip date and are non-refundable, unless cancelled by the guide and a rescheduled date can not be agreed upon.

Liability Policy

River Run Guiding is fully insured, first aid certified, red seal certified, and food handlers certified, guiding company. A liability waiver must be signed by all participants for all trips. PDF's must be worn by all participants while onboard the raft. River Run Guiding has a strict no alcohol on trips and is a catch & release only operation. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Join River Run Guiding for a full-day Spey fishing experience targeting Ontario steelhead on some of the province’s best rivers. Each trip delivers hands-on instruction, local knowledge, and a true focus on the swing. Discover detailed information on our guided raft floats, walk and wade trips, and the rivers we fish below, along with current rates and booking details.

Each trip is planned around the rhythm of the river system. Weather, water levels, and seasonal conditions all play a part in shaping your day to ensure that every outing happens under the right circumstances for a safe and memorable guided experience.

The Credit River Steelhead Trips  

Wading & Raft Floats on the Credit River

*Credit River Trips are subject to weather and water conditions.*

Full-Day Raft Float (8 hours)

  • $650 for up to 2 anglers

  • $450 for a single angler (single angler trips are conducted on a frameless Scadden XX raft)

Full-Day Walk & Wade (8 hours)

  • $550 for up to 2 anglers
    Walk & Wade trips are available year-round on the south side of the Hwy 403 bridge to Lake Ontario.

Target Species:

  • Steelhead


Season:

  • Mid-October to December 31, and from the 4th Saturday in April to mid-May
